Setting Favourites

Registered user's may find the need to bookmark other Authors or Stories and open them quickly instead of having to trawl through the entire Author or Story base to find them again. Storyboard handles this by allowing Favourites, which can be another Author or Story. An Author can have any number of Favourites. In fact, Favourites are a good way to cross promote each other's work and to get more people reading good Stories that they may not have found before.

In the LHS Story bar below the Story's description are the Favourites options. Click either or both checkboxes (Add Author To Favourites, Add Story To Favourites) and press Submit.

Only Registered User's can set Favourites. If you have not already logged into the maintenance part of Storyboard (which is not required unless you want to create Stories, add Chapters, etc.), you must log in now, or Register to become a Registered User. Enter your username and password pair and press Login.

If the Login was successful, the Favourites options are added. To check, open the page for your profile.

As can be seen, the Author and Story are set in the profile of the commenter as hyperlinks - clicking on them will open either their profile or that Story.
